I am talking with a couple that started an orphanage in Haiti recently and asking them a million questions on how I could do the same. So crazy to think this might actually happen in the next two years, and so scary at the same time. I am so scared because there are SO many things that I don’t know, but it’s exciting to think of all the things God is going to make work together so it...

Dreams are so random sometimes
I had a dream last night that Hope and Chelsea came home! ha. And we were like in this church, I don’t know where and they were just really bummed. And I gave them both really big hugs. It was just so random! Maybe it’s time for them to come home? Maybe I’m just really jealous they got to go? ha. I’m excited to hear all about the world race! It sounds so great!

God is so good!
God did something today that I am not sure I will ever be able to understand. God put it on my heart to go back to Haiti to start my mission work. I have a lot of student loans and I originally estimated that it would take me 5 years to pay off my debt. I recently re-crunched some numbers and found that if I put a lot of money toward my loans I would be able to be done in 3 years! God blessed me...

Haiti
My friends Sam and Ashley are adopting a little girl from Haiti. Sammy is in Haiti now trying to get Bebe and bring her home, and they are blogging his trip. I just loved this part that Ashley wrote:
“As they were driving today, he said it was like a ghost town on their way through the city. There was no one in the market, there was no one in the streets. There were no people anywhere and...

I was laughing so hard at this. I love the part when people say “Someones in here” soo true.

This is hilarious. I’m totally a work pooper. I mean, I don’t understand how you CAN’T be if you work normal hours. I just let other people feel embarrassed for it. My favorite is when you walk in with someone that you don’t really know that well, chatting, and then you abruptly...

I know that God’s timing is the best timing. But sometimes I just want God’s timing to be my timing. And that hasn’t been really working out that well lately. Trusting God is so bittersweet right now.

Pet Peeve.
I hate when people keep telling me, “Oh your a special education teacher? You’ll have no trouble finding a job.” Well, you know what? I’m having trouble, and you just aren’t really making me feel too great about that.
Feel the Burn.
Buying new tanning lotion, and putting it all over before discovering that you are bright red and burning because you are allergic to it, is not as fun as it sounds.
